The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) announced licensing of seven
technologies to industry. The agency also released a set of Bharatiya Nirdeshak Dravyas
(Indian reference medicines). Additionally, CSIR delivered quantum sensing components to
the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The moves aim to accelerate
commercialization of research outputs. Industry partners will now develop products based
on the licensed technologies. The reference medicines support standardization in
pharmaceutical testing. The quantum sensors are intended for advanced defence
applications. ETV Bharat reported the series of technology transfers.
